This Privacy Policy explains what information Mirahost, Inc. ("Mirahost," "we") collects when you use our website and hosting platform (the "Service"), and how we use, share, and protect it.
1. Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Account data you provide directly — name, email, billing details, and team member information you add.
- Service data generated by using the platform — deploy logs, resource metrics, support tickets, and the site content you host (which we access only to operate and secure the Service or with your permission).
- Usage data collected automatically — IP address, browser type, and pages visited on our marketing site, via standard server logs and privacy-respecting analytics.
2. How we use information
We use this information to provide and secure the Service, process payments, respond to support requests, send account and security notices, and — only with your consent — send product updates. We do not sell personal information.
3. Sharing
We share information only with:
- infrastructure and payment subprocessors who are contractually bound to protect it (listed on request);
- law enforcement, where required by valid legal process, and we notify affected customers unless legally prohibited;
- a successor entity in the event of a merger or acquisition, under equivalent privacy commitments.
4. Data residency and retention
Scale plan customers may choose EU or US data residency for hosted site content. Account and billing data is retained for the life of the account plus the period required by tax law; hosted content backups are retained 30 days after account closure.
5. Security
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, isolate customer workloads by container, and undergo an annual SOC 2 Type II audit. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify affected customers promptly in the event of a breach affecting their data.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Request these from the panel's privacy settings or by emailing us — we respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
Our marketing site uses essential cookies for functionality and, with consent where required, analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. The panel uses essential session cookies only.
8. Changes to this policy
We will post updates here and, for material changes, notify account holders by email at least 30 days before they take effect.
