Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Mirahost's hosting platform, panel, and related services (the "Service"), operated by Mirahost, Inc. ("Mirahost," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for activity that occurs under it, including sub-accounts you create for teammates or clients. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorized access.

2. The Service

Mirahost provides container-based hosting reachable by SFTP, Git, or the panel, along with related infrastructure such as managed databases, backups, SSL, and CDN. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice, except where changes are required for security.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to host content or run workloads that:

  • violate applicable law, including intellectual property or export control law;
  • distribute malware, conduct unauthorized scanning, or attack other systems;
  • materially degrade the Service for other customers, such as cryptocurrency mining outside a plan designed for it;
  • send unsolicited bulk communications ("spam") from Mirahost infrastructure.

We may suspend a site that violates this section, generally with notice, and immediately without notice where there is an active security threat.

4. Billing

Plans are billed in advance monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Usage-based charges, where applicable, are billed in arrears. Failed payments may result in a grace period followed by suspension; we will attempt to notify you by email before that happens.

5. Data and backups

You own the content you host on the Service. We maintain backups as described in your plan, but you remain responsible for maintaining your own copies of anything critical. Upon account termination, we retain backups for 30 days before deletion, after which recovery is not possible.

6. Service level and support

SLA commitments and associated service credits are described in your plan. Service credits are the sole remedy for downtime covered by an SLA and are applied automatically to your account rather than requiring a claim.

7. Termination

You may cancel at any time from the panel; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless you request immediate deletion. We may terminate accounts for material breach of these Terms, including repeated acceptable-use violations.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mirahost's aggregate liability arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice by email before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.

10. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to legal@mirahost.com or via our contact page.
